Rhythm |
Rhythm is a Greek word (rythmos - ρυθμός) with a meaning similar to tempo. That is, like the parts of a musical piece complement each other so as to create a meaning and a kind of flow, or like the phrases in a poem complement each other to create an emotion. That said, rhtythm in photography is a principle of composition, where parts of an image help you move around in an image, or settle somewhere important.
